Meet the Doctors
Dr. Joseph Vu
Dr. Vu received his Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from The University of California at Davis in 1995. In 1999, he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Pacific by way of the San Francisco campus. Dr. Vu furthered his Dental education by obtaining advanced training in Orthodontics through Progressive Orthodontic Seminars. Dr. Vu is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the Santa Clara Dental Society. Dr. Vu resides in Milpitas, California. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Katalina, and his two children, Kaitlin and Christian. Dr. Vu is a golf junky and enjoys playing anywhere and anytime with his buddies.
Dr. Michael T. Vehawn
Dr. Vehawn has been practicing general dentistry in the Santa Clara Valley since 1977. He graduated from Brigham Young University in 1973 and received his D.D.S degree from the UCLA School of Dentistry. He also spent two years in Brazil on a mission for his church. Dr. Vehawn and his wife Donna were married in 1972 and are the parents of four children. He is an Eagle Scout and has been active in the Boy Scouts of America serving as a scoutmaster for local scout troops. He is a member of the American Dental Society, and the Santa Clara Dental Association.
Dr. Martinez
Dr. Martinez has a dental degree from USC in Los Angeles, CA and completed his residency in Periodontics from National Naval Dental Center in Bethesda Maryland. His family includes four children, Marty, Modesto, Monica, and Alicia, and one four month old granddaughter, Sophie Marie. All of his family members reside in San Diego, CA. Dr. Martinez traveled all over the world. In his military career for the U.S. Navy, Dr. Martinez served in Viet-Nam, Japan, and Okinawa. Dr. Martinez retired in August of 1993. He has been working for private practices from 1993 to present. Dr. Martinez also enjoy computers, photography, biking, and traveling.
